RUDE'S MUSIC PAGE-- THEY DON'T M,AKE 'EM LIKE THESE GUYS ANYMORE

Pop music as we know it has died!!!
I am not sure of the date, but the wonderful thing called pop music, died at some point a while ago. There used to be great pop music out there...when I guy could lay down $50 in a recoprd store, (Backstreet Records in Indiana PA for example) and get 5 really great and diverse albums. Then sometime between 1989-1993, (I blame Paula Adbul and Milli Vanilli personally) either I got older or music started to suck. Perhaps its been a little bit of both. ALl I know is that the great music of my youth, classified as TOP 40 is now gone.It is becuase of this that I wanted to establish a page for myself, (yes it is completely selfish) to celebrate the music that I still enjoy to this day, and to give credit to 20 artists who still find their way into my turntable each and every day.So, I present to you my personal icons of pop music, (sure many of these guys fall into different catergories, but that was what Top 40 was all about).By the way...the Elvis pic at the left is the only one you will see. I was never an Elvis person.

Notations
I do not have permission to use any of these images! There I am honest about it...so don't go spreading them around. It is my hope that some of these artists will stop by, be honored that I have mentioned them, and llow the stuff to stay...if not i will graciously (and after burning every record of heirs I have) remove their faces. The first link below will take you to a little experiment i have been working on for the last 20+ years...The pic at left is a legend in the making...Mr. Randy Scruggs
